Description: Guided walk up Glen Markie with Laggan Heritage. Reminiscences and exploration of sites visited, including the township of Crathie, sheep fanks and other agricultural and community sites in Glen Markie, the township of Ralpach and the impact of the Spey Dam in the 20th century. Meet at Laggan village car park (NN615944). Reasonable level of fitness required. Bring wet weather clothing. Wear stout walking shoes. Bring a packed lunch. Binoculars recommended.
