It administers the Museum, Libraries and Archive Council’s quality standard registrations scheme in Scotland and offers many other kinds of assistance. Museums Computer Group provides a forum for discussion between museum, gallery, archive and HE professionals who work with computers and new technologies. The National Museum of Scotland is committed to assisting Scotland’s smaller Museums. Services include loans from their collections as well as providing advice training and guidance as appropriate.
